As it's that time of year here is some amazing festive winter wedding ideas to get you in that Christmas spirit!
This stunning shoot organiszed by the super talented Rebecca Carpenter and Nataly J Photography for their second Dream Capture Workshops, along with styling from Holly Dallison at Locate To Create.
So whether you're having a Christmas theme, or a winter wonderland wedding, or perhaps a Christmas engagement shoot, there is plenty of inspiration here!
This shoot shows everything that is great about a winter wedding - the rich warm colours, the textures of the foliage in the floral arrangements, the sparkling white dress, then all of the details which set the scene of a gorgeous rustic winter cabin.
I'm a sucker for foliage so I just absolutely adored these florals by Bloomantic, the reds and greens immediately making you think of Christmas with the the white touches adding elegance to the arrangements.
Then of course I have to show you all of the amazing details! From the styling props, the table set up to the stationery and the cake, everything worked togther so beautifully.
For the stationery I wanted to convey the Christmas theme but without being over the top and still retaitning an elegant feel, so I made sure to incorporate plenty of holly in the illustrations, with a little winter robin for good measure! The burgundy envelope and the gorgeous ribbon from Silk and Purl really set the suite off, and the rustic theme continued into the table set up with similar illustrations on the handmade paper.
The showstopper of the cake by Chelsea Buns Cake Design was one of the highlights of shoot, and my personal favourite was the snowmen meringue. The level of detail was amazing and it would really make an incredible and different wedding cake if you're having a December wedding!
