Blue is one of my favourite colours, and I love to see it used in weddings as it is such a versatile colour, and it doesn't have to be limited to your something blue! There are so many shades to choose from you are sure to find one to suit your wedding. It is often interspersed with whites, metallics or other pastels to create different vibes, from elegant and traditional, romantic or eclectic.
One my favourite uses of blue in your invitations is if you are having a destination wedding. You can use it in a watercolour wash, to allude beautifully to the white and blue of Santorini or Mykynos, or to channel the ocean into your invitations. Or you could go with something bolder such as the Meditteranean blue and white patterned tiles for a more unique look.

If you're having a countryside wedding blue can be perfect to add a fresh spring feeling. Hints of blue in floral illustrations or a pastel shade ribbon can match beautifully with touches of blue in floral arrangements or the outfits of the bridal party.
